The DOS are proud to announce The Birds of Derbyshire

This is the culmination of over 17 years' work by a dedicated team of local experts, photographers and artists and represents the most important project ever carried out by the Society.

The book contains 376 pages with 319 accounts of species that have been reliably recorded in the county, with distribution maps of almost all breeding species. Also included are sections on a history of Derbyshire ornithology, the Derbyshire Ornithological Society and detailed accounts natural areas of the County and their birds.
